The True Meaning of Christmas 12/24/11
The True
Meaning of Christmas.
December
25, 2011
It impossible to find an occasion more precious
than this time when we pause to remember the memorable day that speaks to us of
the divine immeasurable love that was exhibited on a very special night more
than two thousand years in a small little town called Bethlehem in Judea.
The incarnation of Christ will forever be to all
mortals a mystery. The act of the infinite goodness, mercy and love, that God
the eternal, infinite, holy and loving God manifested to this world giving His
Son to come into this world in human flesh this love will always be beyond
human assessment, for love like this no one will ever be able to display or
equal.
We celebrate this time of Christmas with lot of
joy, singing, exchanging of gifts in the midst of an atmosphere of love, with
friends and family. But when God send his Son to a world who had forgotten him,
no were not seeking Him, and less loved Him. This was the kind of world that he
loved and gave His son, “So that all who
believe in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Love, love of
God to a lost
world, that is, the true meaning of Christmas. No wonder that at this time,
people seem influenced with the atmosphere there seems to be a sense of kindness and a desire to express
jesters of love , and a measure of
giving that other times of the year are not as acute. This is apparent almost
on most everyone. Not all those who celebrate Christmas have a sense of what
Christmas is all about, but we cannot ignore the unexplainable fact, that, most
people are captivated by the joy and that is felt at this time of the year as
well as the reverential and solemn spirit that characterizes this celebration.
This cannot be explained in any other way, then
stating, that regardless of the measure of Christian influence in someone’s
life, one thing is certain, a person cannot escape the reality of feeling that
that which they celebrate is real, divine and true.
For all those who have received Jesus as Lord, Messiah
, the Only begotten Son of God and as Savior or the world , for these persons
Christmas it a time to celebrate the event of the greatest gift ever given ,
glorious, costly, incomparable, this God give to the world on Christmas day,
His gift, His only begotten son Jesus.
We are wishing you a Merry Christmas!
